Privacy Policy

The short version

Most Dockeazy tools run entirely inside your browser. For those tools your file is never uploaded, never transmitted to us, and never stored on our servers. We only receive a document if you explicitly save it to your workspace or use a feature that requires server processing.

Who we are

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and your name if you provide one.
• Usage records: which tool you ran, when, how many files and pages, processing duration, and whether it succeeded. We use this to enforce plan limits and to understand which tools people rely on.
• Anonymous session identifier: if you are signed out we set a random token in a cookie so free daily limits can be applied fairly. We store only a hashed form of that token.
• Payment records: the amount, currency, plan and payment reference. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Documents you choose to save: only when you upload a file to your workspace.

What we do not collect

• The contents of documents processed in your browser.
• Card numbers, CVV, or UPI credentials.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your documents to train any model.

How long we keep things

Saved documents are deleted automatically:

• Signed-out visitors: 6 hours.
• Free accounts: 48 hours.
• Pro accounts: 30 days.
• Temporary files created during processing are removed as soon as the job finishes.

Deletion is performed by a scheduled job that removes the stored object and marks the record deleted. Usage and payment records are kept longer where we are required to do so for tax and accounting purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the service to work: a sign-in session cookie, and an anonymous identifier used to apply free usage limits. We do not use advertising cookies.

Sub-processors

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for documents you save to your workspace.
• Razorpay and Stripe — payment processing.
• Our hosting provider, for serving the website.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may request access to your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to privacy@dockeazy.com and we will respond within 30 days. Our grievance officer is [Name of grievance officer].

You can delete saved documents yourself at any time from your workspace. Deleting your account removes your documents and account record.

Security

Stored documents are private to your account and served only through authenticated requests that check ownership and expiry. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim certifications we do not hold.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects how we use your data, tell you by email.
